Impact

For all vehicle-related theft, 83% of respondents said they were affected emotionally. Of this, 46% of victims said they were affected either very much or quite a lot. Victims of thefts of vehicles were most affected.

Caravan Security - Secure it or lose it.

You know how important it is to keep your home secure, but what about your caravan? When you are on holiday or touring, you rely on your caravan as your home. Imagine the feeling of loss and frustration you would have if someone broke into it or completely removed (stole) it.

Global Positioning Systems.

Today a number of Satellites ring the Globe and transmit positional Datum's towards the earth. Gps receivers decode the information to give positional data within 5 Meters.

SMS Text Messaging.

Sms messages can be sent from mobile phone to mobile phone and a message can be some 160 characters long. Asset Tracking is the ability to monitor the position of an asset, be it a Car, Lorry or any other such mobile valued piece of equipment.

Imacs Ltd have a Positional Response unit that will identify the Assets position. We have combined the described components above and integrated them into a system that will make it possible to retrieve the Stolen Asset.

The next phase of the project is to integrate a board level Gsm / Gprs modem. The unit of choice is the motorola T18.
